I dont get this incentive that this upcoming generation is the last traditional one. Hardware and hard copies arent going anywhere. Until internet can download 100gbs in 5-10 minutes, discs will be here to stay. No one wants to wait hours to download a game when they can just go to the store and buy one. Funny you say that since the PC version only has higher resolution, slightly better textures and higher fps over console version. About the PS4 and X1 preorders are those numbers the recurring total or just the amount that sold this month?
360 had a slightly better GPU and was easier to develop for. This caused slightly better multiplats for 360. But when it's a PS console that has a hefty advantage, the games are going to look the same huh? You're just another butthurt Xbox fan in denial.
They're launch games. It's not gonna look 40 percent better. Xbox fans have to come to terms that Sony simply has better graphics than MS machine. Just accept it and move on. This "they're the same" rhetoric is making you guys look bad.
Yeah you Xbox fans are just running with what MS said. X1s "amazing line up has nothing worth playing besides DR3. Forza is just more holding down the trigger button while twiddling the analogs. A racer will never be a reason to buy a console since the experience is similar across the board. What does that leave X1 with? I'm not saying PS4 is any better, but you X1 fans are hilarious trying to make it seem like it's fact that X1 has better titles.

PS4 has AAA games too. Just because they focused on it at Gamescom doesn't mean thats all they have.
Without Dead Rising 3, the X1 launch line up looks like ass. I don't care for racers, so Forza is out. Killer Instinct is made by an unproven dev. I'm not seeing what's so good about the line up. It's no better than PS4s. I think Xbox fanboys saw MS toot their own horn and ran with what they were saying.

Anyone else getting tired of Xbox always being listed first over PS4 in gaming news. I mean it wouldn't be a big deal if it was 50/50 but its like Xbox HAS to be listed first. I smell Moneyhatting rats.
Ill be getting both as well but my Xbox One will only be for exclusives. Sony always delivers the best exclusive games while MS only rely on 3rd party. Stop downplaying PS4 power advantage, it has nearly twice the flops. Slightly more powerful? We'll see when the big exclusives drop.
Why are people so certain Xbox will dominate US again? You do realize PS2s dominance didn't help PS3 nor did Wiis dominance automatically help Wii U. Why does Xbox magically keep ALL its fans? Sony has made a lot of strides and will capture a lot of US marketshare. New generation, new mindset.
PS1 and 2 dominated its competition by outselling it by at least 4 times. What's your point? That the original xbox sold like ass? Sony handed 360 the majority of its success by making the PS3 600 bucks, hard to develop for, PSN was mediocre online out of the gate. That's not happening this time around.Sorry.

A.Wii owned North America and so did PS2, didnt stop their successors from having a rocky start. Theres no brand loyalty. Xbox 360 sold well in US because of price and xbl. Not to mention PS3 was considered the devil at the time.

You have Sony mixed up with MS. MS got big headed and lazy when it came to exclusives.Its all because of their early but slight lead over PS3 which they failed to outsell Sony in the end. Sony completely ANNIHILATED the competition with PS2 and still had some of the best 1st and 2nd party around. Sony and MS are very different and PS3s history will keep Sony from going down the arrogant road again.
@tcozzens Last generation the consoles were basically the same in power with PS3 having a slight edge because of cell. This generation PS4 has far better memory and a much better GPU. Why should PS4 be held back because of MS decisions. Instead of holding PS4 back, MS shouldve made a more powerful console.
